Your Dream + Our Process

Don't trust your fishing pond to just anyone with a fish truck. We use a client-centric process to ensure collaboration occurs and that you're well informed every step of the way. There is more to stocking a fishing pond than simply dropping in some fish.

Stock

Our planning process is built around you. We offer eight distinct pond packages for stocking new ponds to create a sustainable fishing pond based on your needs. Our biologists can also prepare a custom quote for larger projects. For smaller projects you may order fish from our online shopping cart, or you'll collaborate with our trained staff to meticulously plan every detail without breaking your budget.

The planning phase of larger projects happens like this:

  • Initial consultation between you and a biologist
  • Delivery of detailed plan and budget document
  • Follow up consultation with you to answer questions and get your stamp of approval

Stock

We don't deliver fish until you and the fish are ready. Fish are temperature sensitive and there is a right time of year to stock certain species and a wrong time of year. And thanks to our four-stop process, we're confident you'll love our fish. The stocking phase happens like this:

  • Fish are harvested from production ponds 5 to 7 days prior to scheduled delivery.
  • Fish are treated for parasites and graded by size no less than 2 full days after harvest.
  • Fish are counted and weighed onto our specialized live haul trucks.
  • Upon arrival, fish are acclimated to your water conditions prior to release.
